The Bastrop County Grand
Jury met on July 14 and re-
turned the following indict-
ments:
■ Donny Hernandez, 35,
Kyle, of sexual assault of a
child.
■ Gabr el Edward Mat-
tingly, 34, Smithville, of
debit card abuse.
■ John Guadalupe Me-
dellin, 29, Red Rock, of debit
card abuse, 2 counts after he
allegedly took a debit card
not belonging to him and
then attempted to use it. He
was previously convicted in
Fort Bend County on April
10, 2000 of felony unauthor-
ized use of a motor vehicle,
on Sept. 3, 2002 of felony de-
livery of marijuana, and on
Jan. 11, 2007 of felony evad-
ing arrest.
■ Jalen Marquis Parks,
17, Elgin, of aggravated as-
sault with a deadly weapon
after he allegedly threatened
someone with a screwdriver
by holding it to their neck.
■ Irineo Diaz Salgado,
33, Pflugerville, DWI, 3rd or
more on April 25. She was
previously convicted of two
counts of an offense relating
to the operation of a motor
vehicle while intoxicated on
Jan. 3, 2006 in Travis Coun-
ty.
■ John Daniel Soto, 36,
Elgin, of burglary of a habi-
tation after he allegedly en-
tered someone's house and
took a necklace.
■ Larnest Dewayne Re-
ese, 33, Elgin, of theft of
property greater than or
equal to $1,500 but less
than $20,000 after he alleg-
edly acquired a 1996 Cadil-
lac without permission of
the owner.
■ Jaime Tamez, 17, Elgin,
of possession of a controlled
substance, namely cocaine,
greater than or equal to four
grams but less than 200
grams on March 20.
■ Michael Wayne Wal-
lace, 22, Bastrop, of failure
to register as a sex offend-
er.
■ Lynetta Mae Washing-
ton, 42, New Braunfels, of
theft of service greater than
or equal to $1,500 but less
than $20,000 after she al-
legedly secured a bail bond
and failed to pay for it on
April 9.
