Monday prior to his discharge. Sgt

RADIO RELAY SECT.
Radio Relay has received 20 new
men into the section and classes
are being helql by the sections
instructors. The section has fur
nished communication for Camp
Moonraker for the past three weeks
but will return to post today with
the closing of the Scout camp.

The past week. the section has
welcomed 19 new men. and classes
are now in session on the AN-
GRC-26 and many other radios.

MESSAGE CENTER SECTION
SFC Schultz and Sgt Dudek are
both being discharged from the
service and are returning to their
Wisconsin homes. Pvt Thomas
Manix has recently come back to
the section. PFC Shank was pro
moted to Cpl. The section's night
driver PFC James Wirt.h is now
home enjoying a 15 day leave in
Milwaukee Wisconsin.
DIV SIG MAINT
A basic understanding of the
principles of electricity meters
and magnetism is now being sought
by 38 men who have become pait
of the Radio Maintenance Section
of the 141st Armored Signal Com
pany.
The class has just completed its
first week and has covered the
elementary theories of electricity
and magnetism and also the ter
minology in these fields which is
most important to a complete un
derstanding of the development of
these theories. The teaching staff
is capable manned by SFC Hamil
ton and Huckaby along with Cpl
Buennagle and Pvt Buchanan.

PHOTO SECTION
The section lost two new men
this week. One went to the Post
Veterinarian and the other to the
47th A.M.B.
PFC Kuritzkv had one of his
pictures in the Houston paper and
also the Temple paper.
Lt. Jaffe is now the proud papa
of a brand new baby boy. The
new addition was born at the Bor
row McRoberts Clinic on the 23rd
of this month and weighed 7 lbs.

He was also given a cigarette
lighter by the members of the unit
in honor of his retirement on June
30 after 22 years of service. The
presentation of the gift was made
by M-Sgt E. R. Winsworth of Hq
and Sv Co.
PFC Gorden E. Powell was pro
moted to Cpl. Lt. Paul W. Linnon
is leaving the unit on a 30 day
leave. At the completion of his
leave he will report to San Mar
cos Air Force Base for combat
liason pilot training.
