ago proved a huge success. Re
freshments were plentiful while
the best entertainment of the eve
ning was provided by M-Sgt. Har
din 4005th Separation Center who

303rd Signal Battalion
played the organ. Men in the com
pany are eagerly awaiting the day
another shindig will be scheduled.
The company is supplying a 17
man monitor team which will be
located at North Fort Hood. The
men will be working in conjunc
tion with the umpires of exercise
Spearhead. They will monitor all
call and radio communications
during the exercise.
Teams that were in the field last
week tallied up a total of three
copperheads two cottonmouths
and numerous scorpians.
Between snakes and field prob
lems the teams were kept on their
toes all the time.

Company welcomes three new
men into the unit. Cpl. James R.
Hooper PFC Antonio Velazquez
and Pvt. Victor J. Kubu Jr. are
drawing their equipment this week
and getting acquainted with their
new company.
Promotions were the big news
this week. Twenty-one men were
promoted to private first class
eight men to corporal and William
H. Moore was upped to Sergeant.
16th SIG CO (RRVHF)
Promotions took the spotlight in
16th Signal Company last week
when 6 men were promoted to cor
poral and 50 men to PFC.
Sgt. Otis Brown has just return
ed from Fort Monmouth where he
attended Television School.
