A revised course on Social
Problems B-496) is now
available through the United
States Armed Forces Institute.
The course has two objectives
to further knowledge gained
through introductory sociology
and to make the student
familiar with some of the factn
theories and technical ap

social problems.
The course is similar to social
problem courses at the college
sophomore level. The topics
discussed include study of social
problems mental disorders

ethnic relations family
disorganization work and
automation. Poverty the com
munity and war are also
studied.
A high school diploma or its
equivalent are required for
