Water Safety is a subject
on an re ha he a
drummed into our heads
especially now with the swim
ming areas in and around Ft.
Hood opening. Yes we can
count on hearing and reading
a lot more on water safety.
But are you tired of the con
stant reminder? If so should
you be?
We read in newspapers
especailly during the summer
months of drownings where
victims are small children and
even entire families. It sounds
tragic but it's true and no
person is really immune to
it. However being aware of
water safety may help prevent
loss of life or serious injury.
See Editorial Page 4
In the April 18 issue of
the Bugle Notes the following
was said: "Drownings are se
cond only to private vehicle
accidents as the major cause
of death to Ft. Hood person
nel." This really puts things
in our own back yard. Reading
on it was also stated that
