Dental and Pharmaceutical Society
held its regular monthly meeting at
the beautiful" new home of Dr. J. C.
Sheffield on Friday night Jan. 11th.
The meeting was well attended and
much Interest was created over Dr.
R. N. Miller's paper on pneumonia
which was discussed by all. Dr. Ty
ler and Dr. Permetter discussed two
very Important cases (if pneumonia.

were carefully discussed. After the
program was completed plans were
formulated and committees were ap
pointed for the caring'' of the State
Medical Association which will hold
Its next annual meeting in Beau
mont next August. After' all ibusi-
ness was transacted a we turned to
the best side of the meeting which
was the relishing of some very de-
licious sandwiches chocdlate cream
and cake. The next meeting will be
held In Port Arthur Friday Feb.

she leaves a devoted husband and
four children to mourn her loss. Her si

ted the remalnsi to Navasota. Mr
Luke Burton died Jan. 6 1924 at
the resident of Mr. and Mrs. Brown.
