George Bannerman Dealey was named president of
The Dallas Morning News in 1920. Upon his death in
1946, Dealey had completed 72 years of service to the
organization.WFAA-TV aired many live remote broadcasts during the
"Golden Age of Television," such as this early 1950s
cooking show from the State Fair of Texas.
