T H E- EBU RRO-
TOMLINSON, guard, did not get in the fight enough for his letter, but by his
steady and efficient practice he Ilayed in several games. His inexperience and
light weight hampered him but he tried his best to learn the game and will have
a good chance on next season's squad. Weight 130.
WILLIAMS was one of those men who never saw a football until this season;
but one, who after learning the game, fought from the start to the finish. He
held his regular position at guard like a veteran and it can be truthfully said
that no one ever ran over him, although he never bucked a man his size.
"Smokey"' will be with us next year. Weight 135.Tiw I,
IEDBETTER was a fast man and if he could have attended practice regu-
larly, would have made a good end or backfield man. He played Tackle in several
games and proved his ability as a player. "Stubs" specialty was breaking up
long end runs. Weight 130.
McCRACKEN made his letter this year on Tackle, but he was an all-around letter
man. "Tuffy" played Full and Center equally well, and made a very valuable
man for the squad. When a fumble was to be recovered "Mac" was always on
the job and fought for his rights like a true wearer of the red and white.
"Tuffy"'' was a good line blocker and once he had his man they seldom shook
him off. Weight 145.
