No. 336 1 AN ACT 2 relating to the filing and posting on the Internet of reports of 3 political contributions and expenditures required in connection 4 with the office of member of the board of trustees of certain school 5 districts. 6 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: 7 SECTION 1i. Subchapter B, Chapter 254, Election Code, is 8 amended by adding Section 254.04011 to read as follows: 9 Sec. 254.04011. AVAILABILITY OF REPORTS OF SCHOOL TRUSTEES 10 ON INTERNET. (a) This section applies only to a school district: 11 (1) located wholly or partly in a municipality with a 12 population of more than 500,000; and 13 (2) with a student enrollment of more than 15,000. 14 (b) A report filed under this chapter by a member of the 15 board of trustees of a school district, a candidate for membership 16 on the board of trustees of a school district, or a specific-purpose 17 committee for supporting, opposing, or assisting a candidate or 18 member of a board of trustees of a school district must be posted on 19 the Internet website of the school district. 20 (c) A report to which Subsection (b) applies must be 21 available to the public on the Internet website not later than the 22 fifth business day after the date the report is filed with the 23 school district. 24 (d) The access allowed 'by this section to reports is in
