Boys not going to the Jamboree might
prefer to substitute the long sleeved shirt for
the V-neck, short-sleeved Jamboree model.
Prices of shorts and shirts are as follows:—
No. 688 Official Service Shorts $1.35
No. 511 Official Heavy Cotton Shorts.. 1.65
No. 687 Jamboree Model Shirt 1.60
No. 647 Official Heavy Cotton Shirt
(Long Sleeve) 2.15
Everywhere .... on country roads, on city
streets, in great public gatherings, in civic
processions, Scouts and their Leaders will be
wearing "Shorts" this Spring and Summer.
"Shorts" have always been popular, but this
year because of the Jamboree, they are going
to be more popular than ever before. Scouts
and Leaders like the healthfulness of them.
They are cool. They are airy and comfortable.
They permit unrestricted action. Certainly
such freedom should appeal strongly to you
and your Scouts.
Your own example will have a tremendous
effect upon the Troop. Get into "Shorts" your-
self and you will soon find the whole Troop
wearing them. They are not expensive. ... A
word of caution, — insist upon seeing the
Sweet-Orr label on every garment. All Sweet-
Orr made Official Boy Scout Uniforms are the
only Official Uniforms for Scouts. They look
better, are better and wear better.
