Lambda Chis Plan
Purchase of House
Charted McMillan, president of
l.ainlslu Chi Alpha social frater-
nity, announced Monday that the
fraternity has made plans to pur-
chase a chapter house.
After living at 1304 W. Hickory
iieet for the past seven years,
Lambda ''hi* will liecomc the sec-
ond fraternity on the campus to
own its own home. Sigma Phi Kp-
silon is the other home owner.
The new home of Lambda < 'hi
Alpha, located at H07 W. Hickory
street, is a two-story frame struc-
ture which is expected to house
about thirty men. It was purchas-
ed from ,1. B. Burrow, it Denton
businessman.
Plans are now being studied by
the fraternity for the remodeling of
the house which will start in
approximately thirty days. Remod-
eling should be completed before
the end of this semester, but the
fraternity does not plan to change
locations until the start of summer
school, McMillai. said.

The fourth Supper Theatre pro-
duction of the year, "Thor, With
Angels" is a morality play.
The forceful drama, directed by
! Bob Stearns, Abilene, deals with
Jerry Melton, Abi-jthc beginning of Christianity in
Kngland among the Jutes, a bar-
baric tribe. The action of the play
takes place on the farmstead of a
Jutish family in Kngland in A.D.
Mtrt.
Miss Agan, Miss Fitzpatrick,and
Pilley are currently working on a
series of television films to l e
shown over national networks. The
film* are lieing produced by the
First Colonial theatre on Lake
Dallas. Wright recently appeared
in a Courtyard theatre production
in Dallas.
Blind Grad Writes Publication
About Printer in Life of Abe
Jame* II Tiietsch, 1063 graduate
who now lives at Clute City, is the
author of a documented and his-
torical biography of Abraham Lin-
coln, "The Printer and the Prince,"
which hits rtvently been published
Trietsch, a former Denton resi-
dent, who is the only totally blind
junior high school teacher in Texas,
originally wrote the I took as a the-
sis for his master's degree. It was
the longest thesis ever written at
this college.

cation at the Texas School for the
Blind in Austin. He completed the
llth and 12th grades at the North
Texas Labori ory school.
He received his B.A. degree,
graduating with highest honors in
a class of 1511.

A discussion on proposals for

Texas Christian University Vet-
erans club, and other veterans
clubs in Texas colleges will be the
topic of Thursday's meeting at 7
p.m., Barlow said.
