who have wide experience as
practical bookkeepers in retail

Bryan and Kern
The Democratic party in
National Convention assembled
at Denver 1 ast week nominated
for the presidency and vice
presidency Williams Jennings
Bryan and J. W. Kern. The
convention was one of the most
harmonious in the history of the
party. Bryan was nominated on
the first ballot, there being not
the remotest possibility at any
time for any one else. Mr.
Bryan comes nearer having the
solid support of all factions of
his party than at either of his
former nominations. There are
favorable indications of his
election.
The nominee for the vice
presidency, Mr. Kern is from
Indiana and of Virginia paren-
tage. He is a man agreeable to
ail concerned. He has been a
prominent figure in the councils
of his party in Indiana for a
number of years. He will not
detract from the strength of the
ticket.

So Atlanta is to have a stock

to pay a dollar every time , his

to respect the law if he will not
respect the rights of his neigh-

ANNOUNCEMENT
w
E ANNOUNCE that we are candidates for
position of custodian of the people's funds.
We want more business. We want them
that are not already carrying an account with us, to
open one, whether it be much or little, it will be ap-
preciated, and have that same careful attention as the
large one. Look into our financial condition, study it
closely, see the BIG amount of cash on hand, see who
the officers and directors are, and the conservative
methods used in the administration of its affairs, the
safe guards used for the protection of the depositors.
All of which we believe will merit your support, and
kindly ask your earnest consideration, and don't for-
get. :::::: : : :
