Mr. and Mrs. Edward Earl Franklin of Copeville, Texas invite
you to attend the marriage of their daughter, Rebecca Sue
(Becky) to Troy Gene Childers. The ceremony will be at 2:00 in the
afternoon on May 2 at the First Baptist Church, Copeville,
Texas. Reception will be at the Bride's grandmother's, Irene Rex-
roat's home in Copeville, Texas.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Maureen Childers
of Farmersville and the late George Childers. All friends and
relatives of the couple are invited to attend the wedding and
reception.
Jerry A. (Bubba) Dickerson, Jr. of Blue Ridge and Donna Gaye
Furry of Wylie would like to announce their forth coming mar-
riage. The parents of the bride are Gay Furry of Wylie, Tx. and
Gene Furry of Tomball, Tx. Parents of the groom are Bo and
Nancy Dickerson of Blue Ridge. A May 30th wedding is planned
at the home of Bo and Nancy Dickerson in Blue Ridge. All friends

The Corinth
Presbyterian
Church In Parker
Corinth Presbyterian
Church at Parker is in the last
stages of a two part renova-
tion to save and improve the
historical church building.
Phase one included siding
the building, enlarging the
parking lot, landscaping, and
drainage design.
Phase two has meant a total
renovation of the sanctuary,
including restoration of the
large stained glass window
which was falling out and
restoration of the original in-
terior shape of the sanctuary.
People from the Wylie area
are invited to an open house
on Saturday, May 2 from 10
a.m. to 2 p.m. Collectibles
from the Parker community
will be sold, including dishes
from the Old Parker school.
A festival rededication wor-
ship service will be held on
Sunday, May 3 at 11:00 a.m.
Everyone is welcome to at-
tend this serv ice.
The Corinth Society was
founded in 1846 and is one of
the oldest ongoing congrega-
tions in Texas. The Reverend
Mona Bailey serves as the
pastor.

Funeral services were held
2:00 p.m. Monday, April 20,
1987 for Gracie Allen
Shewbirt, 85, of Wylie, at the
Abundant Life Pentecostal
Church in Garland. Rev.
Glynn Davis and Rev. Mike
Gay officiated at the services.
Mrs. Shewbirt passed away
Saturday, April 18, 1987, at
Wylie Community Hospital.
Born April 25, 1901, she was
the daughter of Benjamin F.
and Minnie Huddleston
Branch. She married Lonzy
W. Shewbirt on May 14, 1917
in Wylie, Texas.
Survivors include her
children: Hazel Gay, Garland;
J.L. Flanagan, Colorado City,
Tx.; Clint Flanagan, Garland;
Leon Flanagan, Garland;
Lillian Doherty, Royse City;
Dorothy Snow, Greenville;
Barbara Engledow, Green-
ville; Kenneth Ray Shewbirt,
Wylie; Mattie Mae McEuen,
McKinney. Half Sisters are:
Edna Spurgin, Dallas; Louise
Redding, Carrollton; Myrtle
Preston, Dallas; Mildred
Adams, Wills Point. Thirty
three grandchildren and
forty-three great grand-
children.
Pallbearers were Don Snow,
Ray Campbell, Randy Doher-
ty, Larry Vaden, Junior
Flanagan and Ronald Gay.
Interment was in the Wylie
Cemetery with Allen Funeral
Home in charge of ar-
rangements.
ORVILLE KREYMER
Orville Kreymer, 77, of
Wylie passed away April 15,
1987 at Wylie Community
Hospital. The services were
held at Allen Funeral Chapel
on Friday, April 17, 1987 2:00
p.m. with Rev. Glyn Rives of-
ficiating.
Mr. Kreymer was born on
November 20, 1909 to George
W. Kreymer and Media
Skelton Kreymer. He married
Neva Lou Parker on October
1, 1933 in Rowlett, Tx. Mr.
Kreymer was a retired >
farmer.
Survivors include his wife
Neva Lou Kreymer of Wylie;
Children Johnny Kreymer, of
Shreveport, La., Jimmy
Kreymer, Robert Kreymer,
Bill Kreymer all of Wylie,
Dot Kreymer of Dallas, and
Archie Kreymer of Bixby
OK. Seven grandchildren and
1 great grandchild.
Interment was in the Wylie
Cemetery with Allen Funeral
