PHYSICAL STUNTS. SIT AND
STAND. Cross arms and legs while
standing. Sit down and return to stand-
ing position without uncrossing arms or
legs.
THREAD THE NEEDLE. Make loop
with arms by clasping hands. Step
through this loop, first with one foot,
then with the other. Now reverse the
action.
SHADOW TAG. This must be played
on a sunny day. Same as regular tag,
except that a player is "tagged" when
"It" steps on his shadow. Better have a
referee for disputes.
PHYSICAL FITNESS TRICKS.
BROOMSTICK JUMP. Hold broomstick
loosely. Without letting go, jump over
and back.
ONE-LEG GET-UP. In squat position,
bend one leg under you, resting on heel.
Try to come to standing position while
keeping other leg horizontal.
BACK BEND. Measure an arm's length
on the broomstick. Hold this length of
broom against forehead. Now bend
back and try to touch it to the ground
without losing balance.
FOOT THROW. Hold baseball between
heels. Try to throw it over your head
with a backward kick so you can catch
it.
