Experienced leaders strongly recommend keeping a den
program resource file with a folder for each of the 15 activ-
ity badges.
The new Webelos Den Leader Library Kit, No. 6404, con-
tains 11 different items (most of which are listed above) in
a sturdy library box (6404B) for only $4.50 — at your local
Scout distributor.
Whenever possible, look for extra leadership help from the
boys' fathers. To spot their individual talents, hobbies,
home tools and equipment, use the Parent Talent Survey
Sheet shown in the Webelos Den Leader's Book. Recruit
from the most promising of the dads assistant Webelos den
leaders. Enroll early for Webelos den leader training. At-
tend the district monthly Cub Scout Leaders' Roundtable
for help on the activity badge receiving national emphasis
in the program literature.
Webelos Scout Emblem is worn on the
hat and neckerchief.
