RESOLUTION
OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLARENDON, TEXAS ACCEPTING THE
BID OF WHEELER MUNICIPAL SUPPLY, INC. UNDER THE CITY"S TEXAS
COM'^*MUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM CONTRACT NO. 700251 AND AUTHORIZING
AWARD OF CONTRACT TO THE CONJTRACTOR.
WHEREAS, the City Council accepts the bid of Wheeler Municipal
Sully, Inc. for pipe, values, fittings, and other materials for
water system improvements pursuant to the recommendation of OJD
Engineering, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the City Council authorizes the Mayor to act in all
matters pertaining to said contract,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CLARENDON, TEXAS.
1. That the City accepts the bid of $4,408.95 from Wheeler
Municipal Supply, Inc. for materials.
2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract,
change orders and approve payments to Wheeler Municipal Supply,
Inc. for said improvements.
PASSED AND APPROVED ri'HIS 23RD DAY OF JUNE 1992.

Dr. R. L. Gilkey was present to give a report on some ideas for
the Clarendon Municipal Airport in the future. Dr. Gildey also
gave a short report on progress on the feasibility study for
Thunder Junction.
The Donley Appraisal District budget for next year was discussed
briefly. No action was taken at this time.
Neita Draper was present to make a complaint about livestock in
the Neighborhood where she lives. There is a City ordinance that
prohibits livestock within 300 feet of your neighbor without
their permission to do so. The Board of Aldermen instruct City
Secretary to write a letter to the neighbor. If it becomes
necessary the City will file charges against the neighbor.
There being no further business at this time, motion was made by
Alderman Mac Stavenhagen, seconded by Alderman David Pitts, to
adjourn. Motion carried.
