home of her son near Happy Tex
as at the age of 78 years and 3

She was marled to W L LaRoe
July 1818 77 who preceded her in
death 10 years and 6 months

children seven of whom are still
living and were present at the
time of her death She is survived
by two sons Emmelt LaRoe

daughters Mrs Ernest Edwards

A very colorful program was
enjoyed by the local Kiwanis Club
at the regular Tuesday noonday
instrumental music and songs
In between the musical selections
n number of reports were
made by various committee chairmen
Rev A C Huff welcomed
two of our new members into the
club after which the club membership
was given a short test on
social etiquette which results will
not be disclosed due to resulting
embarrassment on the part of the
scholars
The club is certainly fortunate
in having the Drake children and
