PROF. FOWLER'S
Greatest "Work.
getting and rearing ot a family.
It is for the purpose of ditliisiug this
knowledge that. Professor Fowler has giv-
eu to the world this work "Sexual Science,"
which is simply an explanation of the
laws which govern the sexes iu their rela-
tion to each other. He points out theduties
of husbands aud wives and discloses tacts
of which no true man or woman ought to
be ignorant. He lets us into the secret ot
preserving female health and beauty far
into the old age, aud shows how mothers
can avoid much of the suffering ot bring-
ing children into the world—a subject, iu
which every woman is interested aud how
"female complaints" may be avoided with
ease aud certainty.
His book is pure anil elevated in its
style and ideas, and furnishes a practical
solution of many of the most, perplexing
questions of life. It should be read by tliu
young and old, by the married aud single,
and especially by those contemplating
marriage. It touches upon questions and
discusses them throughly, in which every
married person is interested. The advice
whioli it gives to unhappy or indifferent
husbands &nd wives is sound aud practi-
cal, and its warnings to those who seek
to promote pleasure at tile expense of
health ought to be read by every oue. The
tt rrible practice of "regulating the size of
families," which prevails in many parts of
our country, is shown in its true light., aud
we commend the chapters concerning it to
every husband and wife.
All friends of molality and purity in so-
sial life will hail t he advent of Professor
Fowler's book with delight, and thoso
who seek information upon the curious
and tragic ieatuie« of domestic life, those
who would study human nature stripped
of its marks aud disguises, will find this
volume the best hand book in uxisteuce.
Yonug men who value their domestic hap-
piness, should not, fail to read his remarks
oil the subject of selecting a wife, as the
information it, contains is beyond value.
The book is a real blessing to the public,
and will be regarded as such by all who
read it. The low price at which it isissuod
brings it within the reach of all, and
every person who wants to arrive at a
proper understanding of the true relations
of the sexes, should procure a copy. It is
sold by subscription only, and Mr. S. G.
Itiirton who is the authorized agent, for
this section, is now canvassing for it.

ens the System.
Dr. Tlllt'S Pills are composed of
many ingredients. Prominent among them
are Sarsaparilla and Wild Cherry, so uni-
ted as to act. together; the one, through
its mixture with other Kiibsfane.es, purify- !
itig and purging: while the other is
strengthening the system. Thus these I
Pills are at the same time a tonic and a j
cathartic, a desideratum long sought fori
by medical men. t|Ut never before discov- j
end. In other words, they do the work
of two mcilicides and do it. much better
than any two we know of, for they re-
move nothing fi 'in the system but impu-
rities, so that, while they purge they also
strengthen and hence tliey cause uodcbil-
itv and are followed by no reaction.
Dr. 'Mill's Pills have a wonderful
influence on the blood. They not only
purify withaiit weakening it, but they
remove all noxious particles from the
chyle before it is convertet into fluid, aud
ibus makes impure htood an utter impos-
sibility. As there is no debilitation, so
there is no nausea or sickness attending
the operation of this most excellent medi-
cine, which never strains or tortnres the
digestive organs' hut causes tliem to work
in a perfectly natural manner: hence per-
sons taking them do not become pale aud
emaciated, hut on the contrary, while all
impurities are lieini; removed, the com
bined action of tee Sarsaparilla and Wild
('berry purities and invigorates the body,
and a robust state, of health is the result,
of their united action. Price, 2S cents a
