360.-Human Physiology. An advanced course in the study
of the human body with laboratory experiments and mammal
dissection. Not credited until 361 is finished. Two lectures and
three hours laboratory. Text: Martin's Human Body.( eleventh
edition).
361.-Human Physiology. Biology 360 continued. Two
lectures and three hours laboratory.
380.-General Histology. A study of the microscopic structure
of the different tissues and organs of the human body from
material already prepared. Prerequisite: Human Physiology.
Six hours of laboratory work with reading, conferences and texts.
Recommended as an elective for pre-medical students. Offered
as required.
381.-Genetics. A general study of the essential principles
of genetics. Lectures, problems, and laboratory study of illustrative
material. Prerequisite: General Zoology or Botany.
382.-Parasitology. A study of animal parasites and insects
which transmit them. Special attention is given to parasites
which cause diseases in man. Lectures and laboratory work.
Offered as required.
383.-Vertebrate Anatomy. An intensive study of the anatomy
of one or two representative vertebrates. Complete dissection
of a cat required. One lecture and six hours of laboratory
work. Pre-medical students will find this course of value.

310.-Botany. Representative plant structures and functions
are studied with a general survey of the plant kingdom.
Attention is given to economic importance of plants and Nature
Study. Two lectures and three hours of laboratory and field
work. Credited without Botany 311.
311.-Botany. A general survey of the plant kingdom continued
with an introduction to systematic botany and more attention
to algae, fungi, mosses, and ferns. Prerequisite Botany
