ABILENE CHRISTIAN COLLEGE
THE PRICKLY PEAR.
The Prickly Pear is the College Annual. It is a neat book,
and reflects all sides of college life from its more serious phases
to the jokes and pranks which grow out of warm friendship and
good will.
A. C. C. BIBLE LECTURES.
This is a book containing the lectures which are delivered
during the Lecture Week.
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION.
This is a monthly publication edited by the college in the
interest of Christian education.
STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS.
The advantage of attending college are not confined to the
textbooks. Students need some sort of training outside of their
regular school work. Change of occupation, and not idleness,
rests and develops the mind.
CHORAL CLUB.
This is a musical organization composed of young women
under the direction of Miss Dunn.
ORCHESTRA.
A splendid orchestra furnishes music for many occasions.
All students who play orchestral instruments by note are urgently
requested to bring them along.
GLEE CLUB.
This musical organization is maintained for the men and is
under the direction of Miss Dunn.
BAND
A college band is maintained, directed by Mr. Gibson. Students
who play any band instrument are encouraged to become
members of this organization.
THE A CLUB.
Membership in the A Club is based entirely upon merit. Only
those students who win honors for A. C. C. in athletics, forensics
or other student activities are permitted to belong to the club.
