"Art may be defined as a beautiful thought made visible to us
through painting, audible to us through music, or both audible and
visible through poetry and drama. Having the same source, all arts
are kin: and they vary, not in principle but in their means and modes
of expression."
The education of every person should embrace, when possible,
the study of art, for it trains the eye, elevates the soul and creates
an uplifting influence all through life by developing a love of the
beautiful.
The Department of Fine Arts is divided into three divisions:

2. Music.
3. Speech.
