PURPOSE OF THE DEPARTMENT.
Abilene Christian College is run on the basis that it is as
much the purpose of a school to provide atmosphere as it is
to give instruction in literature and science. The aim of
Abilene Christian College is to provide an opportunity for a
real education rather than to make a commercial venture.
The college is not run for financial gain but an effort is made
to contribute to the happiness of our fellows by inspiring and
directing them to noble endeavor. To that end we have gotten
our teachers from among the best instructors to be had. TheySCHOOL OF FINE ARTS
