A study of the principles of psychology as applied to teaching.

the curriculum of the public elementary school. Opportunities are provided
for observation in the Demonstration school.

The following units make up this course: the nature of learning and teach.
ing; teaching objectives; motivation; directing the formation of habits;
the development of knowledge through experience; the development of
knowledge through its use; organization of knowledge; the development
of ideals and attitudes; classroom management; and the measuring of
results of high school teaching.
352.-Adolescent Psychology.
A course dealing with the facts and principles of physical, mental, moral
and religious development throughout the period of adolescence.
