Summer Session, 1931
GENERAL INFORMATION
The twelfth session of The Abilene Christian College Summer
School will open Wednesday, June 10th, at 9:30 a. m. in the
Auditorium. This will be the second Summer Session in our
new plant.
The Summner Session is an integral part of the College Year.
The courses offered are the same as those offered in the long
Session, and equal credit is allowed.
For the accommodation of many of our students who do
not want to go to school during the entire Summer, we are this
year dividing our Summer quarter into two terms of about six
weeks each. The first half will close July 18th and on July the
20th, the second half will begin and it will close August 27th.
Classes will meet regularly six days each week. All class work
will be in the forenoon. The normal amount of work for the
student for each half of the Summer quarter will be three threehour
courses. This will mean eighteen recitation hours per week.
Any student may enroll for either or both halves of the
Summer Session.
