Miss Nelson
Courses in Library Science are primarily for those students
who wish to qualify for positions as teacher-librarian or assistant
librarian. This training is also of great value to one who is interested
in increasing his ability to use books and libraries.
Classes are kept small in order to allow ample time for discussion
and the solving of individual problems.
Students over thirty-five and those who are not deeply interested
in library science and do not intend to do library work, are not
encouraged to enroll for these courses. Classes are not open to
freshmen.
