This fee is non-refundable
except where admission is not granted
by the College. If you are submitting
a room reservation request, please include
an additional $25 deposit. The
$25 room reservation deposit is refundable
only if requested on, or before,
May 1 for Summer registration,
July 1 for Fall registration, or January
1 for Spring registration.
6. Student Health Record
You must have a physical examination
before coming to college. The
examining physician should complete
the health record provided by the College.
Too, you should be capable of
physically and mentally adjusting to
normal college life.
7. Photographs
Photographs are required for permanent
records. These will be made
at a nominal cost during Orientation
for both Freshmen and transfer students.8. Final Admission
You may be admitted to the Dallas
Center of ACC by one of the following
plans:
Plan I: By graduation from an accredited
high school. During high
school you must have completed a
minimum of 15 units, including English
3, pure social science 2, mathematics
2, science 1, and seven electives
selected from the list approved
by the State Department of Education.Plan II: Individual approval by the
Director for persons 21 years old or
over.
Plan III: Transfers from other colleges.(1) Submit your transcript.
(2) You must be in good standing
with the college or university
previously attended and be acceptable
for readmission there.
(3) Freshmen must have a grade
point average of 1.0, sophomores
1.5 (Freshman and sophomore
transfers with a grade
point average less than 2.0 will
be admitted on academic probation.).(4) Transfers from non-accredited
institutions must do 30 hours
of work at ACC with not less
than a C average.
Freshman Orientation
All new students with fewer than 30
semester hours must take this one-day
program immediately prior to Fall enrollment.A discussion of various phases of
college life, including academic course
planning and scheduling, is designed
to help find your place in the Dallas
Center of ACC.
Special Tests
You are urged to take all of the
following College Board Achievement
Tests that are applicable to you during
your senior year in high school,
and have your scores sent to the college.(1) CHEMISTRY. Recommended
