In Wreck Sunday
Frank Holiis custodian of the
Miami Public Schools was In-
jured Sunday evening about two
miles west of Erlck Okla when
his car collided with a California
car on a curve Holiis said he was
blinded by the setting sun
The Miami man suffered chest
and rib injuries when he was
struck by Jhe steering wheel and
he was hospitalized in Erlck
Sunday night He returned home
Monday His car was badly dam
agedHoliis
Holiis was alone at the time jf
the acciderit his wife having re-
mained In Erlck for a visit with
their daughter Mrs Zirkle
The California car in which a
man his wife and child were rid-
ing turned over several times and
stopped on its Wheels The man
was thrown clear of the car and
suffered a shoulder injury while
hhi wife and child remained sit
ting in the car with only slight
bruises
It was reported that there have
been about 17 wrecks on this par
ticular curve this year The
