Leonard James Woodward was
born at Winona Mo on June 7
1907 the son of Lillian Jane
and Charles Weodward He at-
tended i school at Bartlesvllle
Okla Ills parents moved to
Canadian in 1926 and Leonard
followed a year later
He spent some time In Cans
da and Alaska but had made
his home here off and on since
1927
He was preceded in death by
his parents his mother on
March 13 1932 and his father
on March 7 1943
Mr Woodward engaged In the
stucco and plaster business and
made many friends He was
known as a capable and reliable
workman He was united In
marriage with Melva Crouch
and the couple adopted two
children Mary Ruth and Rich-
ard who soon became the pride
and Joy ot their parents lives

Supt Fletcher went to the

1950 and after one year was

According to Mr Spanlhel this
contract still had one moreyear
to run However the boardfeel

Supt Fletcher during the past
years have been outstanding

Supt Fletcher has worked
