launched a new project this
Holiday Season by eelecUng a
Christmas gilt committee with
H5 Ri Wilbur chairman and

contact all local organisations
end churches to submit names
of1 the needy and raise funds so
that all would be remembered at
Christmas time
The results were great with a
total of 390 00 being collected
from local organisations and
members of the notary club
Clothing and food certificates

purchase while enroute to the
Big Bull ranch to do some hunt-

the phone to call her sister

Albert Llske suffered a stroke
early Sunday morning and re-
mains In a very critical condition
this Wednesday night
Mr Llske was at the hospital
to visit his wife a longtune
hospital patient Finding her still
asleep he went to the office and
was standing there reading a
paper when he became 111 O W
Callaway and sons Max and Cert
were there at trw time on account
of Mrs Callaways Illness and Max
noticed Mr Llske begin to slump
and was able to catch him be
fore he could fall to the floor

Livestock Show which Is held
every spring will be bigger and
better than ever this year The
show will last two days
Contest Kill be held next
Friday January 8 Saturday
January 9 will be dented to
exhibiting and to the sale of
tha animals Remember this
is next weekl
Entries are expected on about
10 calves five bulls 25 fat bar-
rows 20 breeding gilts three
sows two sows and litters three
pens of three barrows four pens
of hens and one pen of turkeys
Ten fat lambs and quarter
horses and breeding ewes will
also be exhibited
Livestock and grass Judging
contests are becoming more pop-
ular In both FFA and 4H work
Good cattle and good grass Just
naturally fit together With these
points In mind the livestock
show committee has worked up
what will be one of the out-
standing contests of this kind

teams and 12 4H teams bare
entered and more are expected
Teams are entered from both
Texas and Oklahoma
