Art. V. None except traveling preachers of the Northwest Texas Con-
rence shall be eligible to beneficiary membership in the Brotherhood, and
beneficiary certificate shall be issued until the applicant shall have been
ected to membership by a majority vote of the Brotherhood, and shall have

Art. VII. A beneficiary member who shall fail to pay any assessment
within thirty days from the date of notice shall forfeit his membership, but
may be restored at any regular meeting by the payment of all arrearages.
Art. VIII. The Constitution shall not be changed except by a two-thirds
)te of the members present, and voting at an annual meeting.
Art. IX. There shall be a Brotherhlood Auxiliary which shall be com-
)sed of wives of beneficiary members. (2) Any beneficiary member shall
bve the privilege of enrollng his wife as a member of the BrLotherhood Aux-
ary, and upon the payment of an initiation of twenty-five cents, she shall
come a beneficiary of said Auxiliary. 'Upon the death of a member of the
ixiliary, each surviving member of the same shall pay a mortuary fee of
Le dollar, which shall he disposed of in all respects according to the provis-
ns of Article 6, except that, whenever the wife of decendent is named in the
tilel, the husband of decedent shall be meant in the provisions of this ar-
le.
By-Laws.
1. The President shall sign all certificates of membership, checks and
ders, and perform all other duties usually required of a presiding officer,
d inthe absence of the President, the Vice-President shall perform these
ties.
2. The secretary shall keep a record of the proceeding's of the meetings
the Brotherhood, and of the drafts and orders, and perform the dutiesusu-
y required of a Secretary. He shall, upon notification of the death of a
aeficiary member, give prompt notice to the surviving- members to forward
mortuary benefit to the Treasurer.
3. The Treasurer shall receive and care for all funds coming into his
nds, for the Brotherhood, and disburse the sama as directed bv the Consti-
ion and By-Laws. In addition to the expense of collecting and disbursing
mortuary benefit, the Secretary shall be allowed a sum not exceeding ten
[lars, for each mortuary benefit thus handled, and a sum not exceeding
dollars for each Auxiliary benefit so handled, which sums, if there be no
