These men urge everyone, busi-

ry"r-.t. burglary was discovered by
the proprietor, Carl McPherson,
about 2 a. m., when he was called
to the station to place a car in
storage for the night.
Thief Knew Station
Mr. McPherson’s suspicion was
aroused as he entered the office by
reason of the fact that lights which
he had left on had been turned out.
He found the safe had been moved
several feet from Its customary lo-
cation by the burglar, presumably
to get light from a large window
for his work.
The safe door was standing open,
the knob had been knocked off and
the interior plates removed. Several
screws which had fastened the plate
to the door were lying about the
floor, but the knob and combination
had been taken by the burglar. The
contents of the cash drawer had
been rifled and checks were scat-
tered about the floor. Nothing at
value had been taken except the
currency.
Combination Worked
Examination of the safe led Mr.
McPherson and the officers to be-
lieve that It had been opened by
someone who knew’the combination
and that the knob had been knock-
ed off as a blind. Both a front and
a rear window were open when the
burglary was discovered. It Is be-
lieved that the burglar gained en-
trance through the rear window, aa
It would have been extremely diffi-
cult to open the front window from
the outside.
A finger print expert was called
from Mangum, Okla, arriving Sun-
day and remaining until Monday.
Fingerprints on the safe door and
on the windows were examined and
