Dies At Abilene
Azor W. Henderson, 53, died
at Abilene Monday, Oct. 5. He
was bom Jan. 1, 1906 in Jack
County the son of J. H. and
Carrie Henderson of the Joplin
community.
Funeral services were held at
2 p.m. Wednesday at the Joplin
Baptist Church with Rev. W. H.
McQueary officiating. Interment
was in Fairview Cemetery.
Survivors include his mother;
four sisters, Mrs. Erna Single-
ton of Perrin; Jimmie Hender-
son of Joplin; Mrs. Agnes West-
brook of Hawaii; Mrs. Carrie
Gilbert of Carlsbad, N.M.; three
brothers, John H. Henderson of
Saint Jo, B. M. Henderson of
Fort Worth and Eugene Hender-
son of Joplin.
Arrangements were with
Hawkins Funeral Home.
