Description

Photograph of a historic mural on the side of Verna's Cafe in downtown Port Arthur, Texas. The mural consists of two couples dancing beside a river. On the opposite side of the river, there is a row boat and fish net. Above the net, there is a building that says "Verna's" on the roof; a dock attached to the building stretches into the river. The mural was painted by local artists. On the actual Verna's Cafe, there are signs that say "Verna's Cafe," "7-Up," and "Cafe." A sign on the sidewalk says "Cafe Plate Lunches Gumbo Steaks Beer."
