W.S.GS. Meets At
Methodist Church
Circle I of the W.S.C.S. met
in the Methodist Church Mon-
day afternoon for the regular
business meeting and worship
program.
Miss Bessie Skinner chair-
man offered prayer and con-
ducted the business session.
The District W.S.C.S. meet-
ing being held in Belton today
(Thursday) Sept. 18th was an-
nounced. Seventy visits to the
sick and shut-ins were reported.
The program "Voices from
South Africa" was led by Mrs.
'Joe Bridges. The writer of the
program Mrs. McKnight is
working in Adult Christian Ed-
ucation in South Africa. The
icripture was read from Amos
5:15. Purposes of the program
were: To express some of the
main concern of an African
miner and the people whose
Uvea touch his and to suggest
how the church through Afri-
can ministers missionaries and
other South African Christiana
minister to the miners. A pray-
er written by a young African
was read by the leader. Others
assisting on the program were
Mcsdames Larry Sullivan L. C.
Clemons Bob Grigsby Mart
Loatherman and Miss Bessio
Skinner.
In closintr. nraver was orivpn
by the leader with those pres-
ent joining in saying the soc-
iety motto.
Mrs. Grigsby was hostess for
a social period. A refreshment
plate was served to Mrs. Larry
Sullivan and the following mem-

Mastrovich M. M. Loatherman
F. L. Tegge L. C. Clemons Bob
