Postcard of the Phillip Hotel, a two-story stone and light-colored wood house with two wings and a wood and wire fence surrounding. There are long porches along the first and second stories, and windows along each floor. The back of an open buggy is visible at the left of the photo, with a dark-colored, short-furred dog standing to the front and right of it. On the back is handwritten text, sent to Mrs. Hyland in Buda, Texas.
In 1952, Boerne citizens created the Boerne Public Library. In 2011, the city added the Patrick Heath Public Library, which provides programming and cultural enrichment, local history archives, and stands as a community center.
