Tho Junior League was enter-
tained Saturday evening the 20th
at the hospitable home of Mr and
Mrs D M Smith from 2 until 5
p m All the Leaguers were pres
ent and my how the little folks
did enjoy themselves by playing
various games which were sug-
gested bs older ones Then after
all had become weary of playing
the refreshments were served which
were enjoyed by alland while they
enjoying the feast Mrs Woodson
talked to them about the League
and its work and we sincerely
hope that each one will take an
active part in the League work
which will help them in this life
and at least have it said Well
done thou good an d faithful servant

After an illness of over throe
months Mrs Sue Bette Moseley
wife of Mr J B Moseley passed
away at their homo at Smithland
last Friday night and tho funeral
took place Saturday Jan 20th in
the family graveyard The de

waek by her infant babe of three
months and besides husband fiyo
little children are leit a mother
sister brothers and other relatives

have just come before the county
judge here for tho appointment of
administrators One was that in
which Emmet Burke was appointed
administrator for the estate of his
deceased wife his bond being fixed
at 8160000 The other was that
of the administration of tho estate
of B G Hughes deceased his
widow being appointed her bond
being 800000 The bond of Mr
Burke is the largest boud ever
made in a probate case in Bowie
county
