FIRST METHODIST WSCS
The First Methodist WSCS met
Monday afternoon for a business
meeting with Mrs. O. C. Wade pre-
siding.
Plans were made for a covered
dish luncheon next Monday with
all circles attending and Circle

to hold office until June 1, when
the church year will go into effect.
A devotional period at the Mon-
day meeting began with meditation
music, played by Mrs. W. E. New-
ton, followed by silent prayer.
Mrs. T. J. Clotfelter led the ser-
vice, and read several poems.
The World Council of Churches
was discussed by Mrs. Billy Barr,
who brought out the thought that
by having a family of the churches
of the world, unification of the
world could be brought about.
