2310. If the student has very poor background in shorthand theory, however, he should audit O.A.
2310 with regular attendance. A diagnostic test can be administered upon request to determine whether
an audit is advisable. Students who have had no typewriting in high school may meet the typewriting
requirement by taking O.A. 1300 and O.A. 1310.
HONORS
ACCT 3105. HONORS TUTORIAL
An in-depth study of managerial decision-making procedures using relevant
cost data. To be taken after successful completion of, or concurrently with,
Accounting 3305.
ACCT 3170. HONORS TUTORIAL
A study of the research methods and materials used to answer complex ques-
tions of Federal Income Tax that go beyond the scope of a basic introduction
to taxation. To be taken after successful completion of, or concurrently with,
Accounting 3370.
MGMT 3110. HONORS TUTORIAL
A study of the underlying research and case studies from which management
principles stem. This honors tutorial investigates examples of classic research
which have guided the development of management in the 1980's. To be
taken after successful completion of, or concurrently with, Management 3310.
MKTG 3170. HONORS TUTORIAL
An in-depth study of product management decisions, going beyond the basic
marketing principles. The student would, in effect, learn how to manage the
marketing mix for one product, from development through the life cycle. To
be taken after successful completion of, or concurrently with, Marketing 3370.91
