The Brand August 19 1994 Meet the Dorm Directors Anderson Brian Edwards was born and raised in Gatesvillc where he graduated from high school in 1990. That fall he came to HSU. While at HSU Brian was a 4 year starter on the Cowboy basketball team and he was a member of Tau Alpha Phi men's social club. He participated in FCA and was a member of Kappa Delta Pi Na- tional Education Honor Society. Recently Brian married Michelle Grady. He plans to graduate in December with a degree in all- level physical education with a minor in biology. Anderson Jason Manry graduated from Burleson High School in 1987. In June of 1991 he married Rhonda Cox. He came to HSU in the fall of 1991 where he and his wife served as dorm directors of Ferguson Hall until August of 1994. Jason and Rhonda have a son Jacob Austin who will be one year old on September 2. Behrens Stephanie Schucherf ;s the new residence hall director foi Behrens Hall. She and her husband Jerry moved to Abilene from Flower Mound this summer. Stephanie graduated from Texas Christian University with a B.B.A. in Man- agement. She will be taking lev- elling classes here at HSU and she hopes to apply for the new Master of Physical Therapy pro- gram in the fall of 1995. Ferguson Shanda Dame is originally from Decatur where she lived on a dairy. She graduated from Lib- erty Christian School in Denton. She entered HSU in the fall of 1990 She is working toward a B.B.S. in education with a major in all level physical education and a minor in biology. She plans to work toward a Master's degree. While attendingHSUShandamet her husband Craig Dame. They have been married two months. Hunter North ' Alan Thomas was born in St. Louis Missouri and raised in Odessa TX. He went to Odessa Permian High School where among other things he played football graduating in 1989. He attended Odessa College for one summer then came to HSU in the spring semester of 1990 to play football again. He was a member of the first year reinstated football team and played free safety. He met his wife Blandi and was mar- ried in June of 1991. Alan also has a son Cole who is 2 years old. He is currently a junior working on a major in Business and Fi- nance. Hunter South Blandi-McNeil-Thomas was born in Lubbock and raised in Midland where she attended Greenwood High School. While in high school she was a varsity cheerleader served in student government and was active in church activities. Blandi gradu- ated from high school in May of 1988 and came to HSU the fol- lowing'fall where she majored in theatre. She spent several years actively involved in theatre pro- ductions BSU and'student gov- ernment. She met Alan and was married June of 1991. Blandi also has one son Cole who is 2 years old. She; graduated from HSU with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and English in December of 1993 and received her teacher certifica- tion in the spring of 1994. Cur- rently she is working on a Master's Apotpp. degree. Lange Sue Carlisle is from Lubbock. She has lived in Abilene for the past few years. She graduated from HSU in May of 1993 with a B.B.S. in education. She is cur- rently working toward a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. This will be Sue's sec- ond .year to be dorm director of Lange Hall. This year she will be the cheerleader sponsor. Nix C.J. (Chris Johnson) was born in Pasadena. He came to HSU fromNorthMesquiteHighSchool where he played footbal 1 and base- ball. WhileatHSUCJ.hasplayed football three years and baseball four years. C. J. didn't come to HSU just to play sports. He also came to HSU so he could be with his wife Jenny Johnson. They have been married a little over a year. CJ. plans to teach biology and physical education on the sec- ondary level.
