To Stay
Attached to an east bound
freight train last night watt an im-
migraiit oar loaded with the house
hold effects of Mr. .loc Parrish,
former county commissioner of
Kanniu county.
Bfr. Parrish fornacrly lived near
Honey Grove, and last year left
old Fannin for Oklahoma. One
year was sufficient to satisfy Mr.
Parrish that he had made a mis-
take, so us soon as possible he
headed back for Fannin, in con-
versation with a train man cn
route Mi . Parrish said that In* had
comeback to stay; that the ex-
perience he had was sufficient to
last him for a life time and that he
would be content to stay in Fan-
nin county the rest of his days.
And so another wanderer has re-
turned.
loufdy Farmers’ Union Explain-
ing His Position
Washington, .Ian. 4.—Senator
Bailey has writteu a letter to the
secretary of the Farmers’ l J nion of
Fannin county declaring his oppo-
sition to the parcel post bill and
giving the reason for his attitude.
Texas members of congress have
received a large number of me-
morials for aud against this pro-
posed legislation. The bill has
n-.ver been reported, and there is
scarcely even a possibility of its
coiKddeiatiou during tiiis session
of congress.

Hall’s Catarrh Cure is not a quack

one of the best physicians in this

At lhe Crescent.
Probably what is the best vaude-
ville feature ever shown in Bon-
ham was that of Burtou and Marie
De Alamo at the Crescent last
evening. These two people are
certainly artists in their lines.
Burton, with his English con-
certina, cannot be excelled. On
this instrument he produced a part
from the famous opera, 11 Trav-
a to re, imitated a bugle call to per-
fection, and his other imitations,
that of an organ, crowing rooster
and a whistle bordered on the mar-
velous. The two put on other mu-
sical novelties that are decidedly
entertaining and any one of which
is worth the money. There are al-
so three excellent picture reels run-
ning. In fact it is all good, and
tho?e who miss this program will
miss a rare treat indeed. For the
latter part of the week Manager
Mrs. A. C. Beaver, of Unicoi, Route No. 1, Mar-|
bleton, Tenn., writes: “I suffered with bearing-
down pains, feet swelled, pain in right side, headache, I
pains in shoulders, nervous palpitation, and other
troubles I cannot mention, but I took Wine of Cardui
and have found it the best medicine I ever used,|
|for female troubles.” Try Cardui.
