Fort Worth Standard
The Fort Worth Standard was a Democratic newspaper published from 1873 to 1878, offering news about the city and from across Texas and serving as "The Official Journal of City of Fort Worth." The Standard published daily and weekly editions, with a heavy emphasis on local commerce as it related to the wider state. The Standard has been added to The Portal to Texas History by the Fort Worth Public Library.
