Description: Photograph of a large group of elderly people in costume, riding a float in the League City Sesquicentennial Parade in honor of Texas' 150th birthday. The parade took place on a major road in League City. The elderly people are seated in rows facing the front of the float; many of them are waving. The women are wearing pioneer-like clothing and bonnets, while the men sport porkpie hats. The back of the float is dominated by a model of a church, complete with a cross, a bell tower, and mock stained glass windows.
