T'Ls U* Mayor McKinley is at the Fort Worth Public
Health Center to dedicate the new Community Action
Program's Dental Care Center, and Ameet Miss Pickle,
U S-A He and Doctor Lloyd W. Richardson, president
of the Fort Wo-th District Dental Society, cut the
ribbon formally opening the Dental Care Center, but
Miss Pickle is conspic us by her absence. Its pickle
week, and Mayor McKinley wants to give her a proc-
lamation naming this week Pickle Week in Fort Worth.
But, first things first. The idea for the program
medical care those who could not otherwise
afford it began two years ago. Last month, the
clinic opened. It has four chairs, five part-time
dentists, a director, and 210 patients. School nurses
teachers, and welfare people refer patients to the
clinic for free dental care.
