FIRE
In the 24-hundred block of Exeter in the South Oak
Cliff section of Dallas, firemen battle a smoky two-
alarm fire in Faith Tabernacle Church. Two firemen --
caught in a sudden back-draft of flames --are sent to
Methodist Hospital for treatment of burns about the
face and neck.. .but do not require hospitalization.
Remaining firemen tap the fire out within a half-hour
after 4 sounding of the second alarm. The cause of
the blaze is not immediately determined.MAN TALKS

morning, he saw smoke pouring from a rear window.
Thirteen-year-old Clarence Green, who lives a block
north of the church, says he saw several boys running
from that direction a short time before the fire was
discovered. Firemen, however, decline to speculate
as to the cause. They-estimate damage to the church
at 15-thousand dollars.1:05
