  • Content Description: Photocopy of a letter from Jack Davis and Bill McCarter, co-directors of North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts to Don Roberts, Forrest E. Watson, H. Wayne Hendrick, and Otto M. Fridia. In regards to the good work the staff members have been in planning and developing a proposal for the implementation of the Institute. Davis and McCarter write that they have completed a draft of the proposal and have attached a copy to the letter, and they would appreciate the superintendents reviewing and providing feedback. The success of the proposal will have mutual benefits on the districts if NTIEVA is able to obtain the grant, so they can continue their goal of implementing the DBAE program. The rest of the letter summarizes the budgeting and things needed to be negotiated with the Getty Center.
