Former Vice President General Bill Eddleman thanked the Texas
Society for their support during the past year.
Former VPG George Brandau stated it looked like real growth in the
Mexican area with the Salinas line and members in the Galvez
expedition.
Trustee Kurth stated tha he was glad to represent the Texas
Society at National Headqu ers and was looking for a banner year.
Sr. VP Bill Hightower spoke on his preparation of the Contest
notebook, his assistance with the Corpus Christi Chapter, the Big
Country Chapter Installation, atndance at the National Congress,
and all the correspondance he did during the past year. His report
is fled.
VP S.H. Ehrenstein, District I, spoke of the activities of the Col.
Turner Sharp Chapter and the efforts of reitablishing the Permian
Chapter. H.s report is filed.
VP Allen Early Distict II, spoke on the Comendation Certificate to
the local firms for flying the American flag presented by the Fan-
Handle Plains Chapter and the meeting of the Texas Tech Chapter.
His report is filed.
VP Fred Eubanks District III., stated all chapters were active
and well led. He spoke of the workshops in Kerrville and San
Antonio. The Kerrville Chapter received a lot of good press for
their display. of the Constitution " Blessing of Liberty". The
report is filmd.
VP David Yei lding District IV was unable to attend and filed his
report and Compatriot Stephens gave the report to the Board. He
stressed that each of his chapters were active and held regular
meetings and that he had attended each of them.
VP C. Rogers McLane, District V, reported that he had communicated
with each of his chapters , attended the Big Country Installation
and will give the program at their next meeting. He was the speaker
at the Flag Day ceremony at a joint meeting with the SAR-DAR-CAR.

VP E. Graham Martin, District VI, stated he had attended meetings
with 5 Chapters and communicatewith the other two chapters. He has
served as Secretary and Program Chairman for the Capt William
Barron Chapter andhad Compatriots Fowler and Gen Wright as speakers
for their meeting. His report is filed.
VP David Peterson, District VII, filed his report and stated that
the Galveston Chapter is preparing for the State Society's annual
meeting, attended the Paul Carrington Chapter which had enjoyable
meeting in which they honored 4 Compatriots with the War Service
Medals. The Major White Chapter will hold a meeting in the Fall,
and the Houston Chapter has had good programs including the oration
