When I was a teenager in Arlington, there wasn't any
question about which high school you'd go to because
there was just one...housed in this building, which is
now.......
in those days, Arlington was not especially concerned
about it's place in the sun...or it's place on the
map..because there weren't very many reasons to come
here.
There was a small school called North Texas Agri-
cultural College, with not many students, not many
buildings and plenty of open xpace. Now, there are
lots of students, lots of builings, and forget about
the open *E space.
In the way of big business, there was the .........
and actoss the street, the ..........we didn't know
it at the time, but this was our industrial complex.
Now, Arlington has the Great Southwest Industrial
District, General Motors and lots more.
In the way of tourist attractions, well there
weren't any. But there was a minerzl well in the
