Thanksgiving was about sharing and giving thanks for the harvest. Our harvest is in the areas of food and
love with out either we would not have the programs we have. we have not sat around the table to give
thanks. Pantry and Meal program had a Volunteer party at the home of David Harmon. The invited all
the volunteers for the past two years to the event. There were two main reasons the first was to say
thanks. The second was to let the volunteers know they are valuable, even if they have gone on they have
made a difference in the Food Programs.
Because of the help of our volunteers and the donations of food our clients are served. Non of us are so
powerful to do it alone. We are thankful to have them in our lives. They support our over 2000 clients.
They bring joy and color to our lives and our programs. Their creative energy has been our driving force
for change.
Thankful that the medication has advanced this year and many who have been with me the last 6 going on
seven years are not only here but are looking good going back to work. Most of us who work in this field
called AIDS would like to be unemployed due to lack of need for us to exist
Pantry
We are getting ready for the holidays. What does that mean you might ask? Well this year we need to sell
1600 turkey book coupons At $5 each to cover the cost of the holidays. The Turkey fairy had a accident
and broke his wing, we need your help. there are allot of clients we have sense 1991 made sure that all of
our clients had the ability to have a special meal for both thanks giving and Christmas Holidays .
We also need to create space for donations this seems to be that time of year that hearts open and people
have food drives we love them. We need them. The holidays offer us more than things we get more
volunteers. We need you to assist us in keeping our heads above water.
There are rumors of a Thanks for Giving Show Nov. 23 at the Roundup. Well............
Meal Program

best. thank you all for being in our lives.
