Dear Neighbor,
Please take a few moments to think about our neighborhood and
the quality of life here. Are you concerned about rising
crime, traffic and the unchecked encroachment by developers
into residential areas? I am concerned about these issues, and
I also fear that we are reaching a time of crisis for
neighborhoods in Dallas.
Without responsible leadership on our City Council, the quality
of life here in East Dallas is at risk. We must be heard by
the people who make decisions about our lives. And we must be
able to trust our council representative to act in our behalf
on issues decided by the City Council.
Bill Nelson is my choice for City Council because he will be
that kind of representative for District 2. I have known Bill
for 14 years. He is a man of courage, intelligence and above
all, integrity. He is committed to responsible solutions to
the problems of our neighborhood and our city and he
understands the needs of the diverse groups of people who make
up District 2.
Bill Nelson is a very strong person who will not compromise
important values under pressure, but will fight tirelessly for
what is right for our neighborhood and our city.
April 6 is almost here. This is your opportunity to make a
positive choice for the person who will represent you for the
next two years. If you would like to hear Bill's position for
yourself, give him a call at 521-7467 or 521-7468.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,Linda Mitchell
