Press release advertising the screening of the film "Wild Women Don't Have the Blues," which was hosted by the Junior Black Academy of Arts and Letters on June 18, 1992 at the Clarence Muse Cafe Theatre. The news release also provides information on the importance of blues music in African American history, as well as outlines a few themes focused on in the film.
The Special Collections Department collects and preserves rare and unique materials including rare books, oral histories, university archives, historical manuscripts, maps, microfilm, photographs, art and artifacts. The department is located in UNT's Willis Library in the fourth floor Reading Room.
